Synopsis: A therapist with a particularly clingy patient tries to rid of himself the man’s presence while on vacation with his family.
The Good: The back and forth between the two characters was genuine and it felt authentic. Several of the scenes were very funny and Murray did his normal fare.
The Bad: It felt like it needed just a little bit more.
Best Line: You ever hear of Tourette’s syndrome? Involuntarily shouting profanity?’
‘It’s exceptionally rare.’
‘Shit-eating son-of-a-bitch! Bastard, douche-bag, twat, numb-nuts, dickhead, BITCH!’
‘Why exactly are you doing this?’
‘If I fake it, then I don’t have it.’
Fun Fact: Producer Laura Ziskin recalled having a disagreement with Bill Murray which led him to toss her in a lake. She confirmed in 2003, “Bill also threatened to throw me across the parking lot and then broke my sunglasses and threw them across the parking lot. I was furious and outraged at the time, but having produced a dozen movies, I can safely say it is not common behavior.”
