Synopsis:
The Good: It’s offbeat and if you like that…you’ll love this. If you like low budget…no budget, here you go. If you want to know it would have looked like if you and your friends made a bad ripoff of Napolean Dynamite (complete with a Jon Heder cameo) this is your jam. Apparently, I’ve stumbled on Billie D. Williams’ lesser-known works.
The Bad: This is exactly what it looks like when friends make movies with no budget and no real script and mediocre acting at best. Like it or not this is probably how most of us looked when were younger too, despite how badass we wanted it to have been. There’s a lot of fat shaming that’s supposed to be a storyline, and the whole thing exists in a weird 70s, and 80s time warp where arcades and burgers are a nickel but 9/11 already happened. It’s confusing.
Best Line: Why should I listen to you? That guy doesn’t even have a shirt on!”
Fun Fact: The title in the opening is “The Sasquatch Gang” but in the end credits the title is “The Sasquatch Dumpling Gang”
