Synopsis:
The Good: Continuing my study of Schattel’s work I venture into this one not knowing what to expect. It’s dark, it’s gritty, it’s patient and it manages to be funny without trying. Again, the dialogue is oddly realistic and I think that’s my favorite part of these films.
The Bad: It’s slow… Sure. I don’t think that hurts the story much. Some of the cast could have been better but the lead was adept and carried his weight throughout.
Best Line: “No one wants to live there, man. Not even me and I haven’t changed my underwear in three days.”
Fun Fact: The unfortunate effects of age have nearly erased the memory of producing this film from Polly Schattel mind entirely. Entire days, lost to history.
