Synopsis: After her death years before, the spirit of a vengeful prom queen returns.
The Good: The whole premise was fairly original at the time. They don’t jump right into the tropes and cliches and for a low budget horror film it’s pretty in line with the era.
The Bad: It has absolutely nothing to do with the original. It’s dated in feel and style. The story is decent but not ground breaking and at times confusing. It feels like what if Carrie was a ghost story.
Best Line: You shut your fucking mouth, bitch!’
Fun Fact: The phone number Mary Lou writes on the confessional booth “For a good time call” was actually screenwriter Ron Oliver’s home phone number at the time. No one called.
