Synopsis: A young girl, pushed too far by an abusive father finally gets her revenge.
The Good: This is a low budget film and I know the cast/crew so I’m taking a different tact on the review. The story itself was fairly well developed with some interesting points and felt like a conglomoration of ideas that had been seen before but not together. I think there’s a ton of potential here with improved budgets and equipment.
The Bad: The drawbacks to this film all lie in the lighting, pacing, cinmetography, elements that practiced over time will improve. The bones were good, it just needs more execution. Acting was inconsistent with some good moments and some stiff ones. Again, practice.
Best Line: “I took away the thing she loved most…me.”
Fun Fact: Originally titled ‘A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder’. The title was changed to avoid conflicts with the Netflix production of the same name.
