Synopsis:

The Good: Ugh, how good was that?!? Fuck, that was a fun movie. Flaws everywhere but still so much fun. They’ve done a great thing with this franchise. Love it, strong adaptation. Decent story, (could have just gone back in time and….nm. nm…whatever) but it holds up. Great flick.

The Bad: The jokes went a little soft sometimes. It’s not quite as edgy as the first time around. A couple flat moments and the teenage warhead relationship thing was a little heavy-handed but….eff it, still worth the watch. That cut scene stolen from X-Men is a lot out of place and poorly timed but it passes easily.

Best Line: “Toilet paper is a pretty fine appetizer. But, then…Huggies Natural Care wet wipes. That’s your main course. They’re soft, they’re moist. They’re for babies. Finally, one more pass with toilet paper, maybe clear out that excess moisture. Maybe treat yourself to a blow and go, if you can get you a hair dryer. Just about 30 seconds would do you good.”

Fun Fact: (at around 37 mins) [Super Duper Cut only] Deadpool is seen reading “The Canadian Mounted”. This is the same book John Candy reads in Planes, Trains & Automobiles (1987) when Steve Martin spots him in the airport. Both John Candy and Ryan Reynolds are Canadian as well.
